Use Netstumbler to check if there’s networks closeby and what channel they are set to.
If Netstumbler doesn’t support your wireless network card, you could use Cain & Able. Just note that this program is often detected as a malware with common antivirus programs.
Configure your router to use a Wifi channel as far away as your neigbors as possible. Channel 1, 6 and 12 are the only channels that doesn’t interfere with each other.
So if your neighbors use channels 1 and 6, choose 12.
If problems still occur, try disabling any turbo mode and moving the router closer to the console.
