Ball-It, The New Gadget To Replace Wii Mote

degrees Ball It, The New Gadget To Replace Wii Motesource: Ball-It

This is outrageous. While Nintendo is an inspiration for all, there is a company, a Finnish company to be exact trying to beat the amazing Wii Mote by creating their own Ball-It remote.

It is a ball that you can squeeze, connect to the phones, connect to the PC, and make it into a joystick that allows you shoot or play tennis.

Being dupe as the “Wii Mote killer”, there has been quite a lot of attention towards Ball-It. Some says this is the magic ball that makes the impossible seems possible.

The ball is able to sense geomagnetic field, orientation, direction, speed, air pressure and acceleration so you can expect the ball to do anything that might seems impossible.

Surprisingly, this Finnish company is not the first to create such a gadget to ‘kill’ the wiimote, there are other companies that have been trying with luck to invent something much better to override Nintendo Wii’s remote control.

According to Venturebeat,

“In one game demo, I was able to use the ball to play a game of billiards on a Nokia phone. The ball-it ball becomes the cue.”

So, you can imagine how exciting it can be using Ball-It to play games but what about Wii Mote? Will Wii More able to survive such a terrific gadget?

Interactive Whiteboard using Wiimote

Wiimote is the best remote I have come across. There are so many things you can do with it at one point you might think that it is not a remote at all. Wiimote can do many other things apart from playing Wii games.

Check this out. You can use the Wiimote to create a whiteboard. Of course, not everyone can do this but if you know the ways and you have the knowledge in software, I think you can try this out.
