Puzzle Kingdoms

Puzzle Kingdoms is similar to Puzzle Quest, at least in some ways. It is as fun as Puzzle Quest, if not prettier (the truth is most of you will find that Puzzle Kingdoms is hideous).

How do you play the game?

Well first of all, choose a new warload in Puzzle Kingdoms. Then you will be meeting heroes that you will lead in a battle throughout the game. The heroes will be learning new spells and gain new abilities, as they advance.

The most important in the game is to pay attention to the gold. You will use the gold for recruitment of different troops in your battle. Be reminded that you will lose if all your troops die and you have no more gold.

If you are not in a battle, have fun playing some minigames. There are 3 places you can play minigames, the shrine, dungeons and taverns. Usually you will get status upgrade if you win the minigames.

This game could be addictive if you love it, or it could be a turn off if you find the graphics are ugly. I would say it is worth a shot because it is a fun game. Although the graphics might not live up to the expectation but the game play is interesting.

Give it a try. Who knows this is the game suitable for you.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Well, as much as we like the movie, we can never say the same for the game.

Overall, the game isn’t too bad but definitely doesn’t live up to the expectations.

Why it doesn’t get much favourite votes?

First of all, the adventure is rather dull, the controls rather complicated and one thing for sure there is no excitement when playing the game.

One thing you might like is some funny lines that occasionally appear in the game and maybe some of the characters too.

The game is based on the movie so most of the characters are in the game, which is helpful but not too helpful.

We know Transformers are cool. With their transforming power, this is what kids would love to have.

The problem is not at the Transformers but at the gameplay so who’s fault is that? Ask the developers, what are they doing?

Still if you are a die-hard fan of Transformers, you will like everything related to Transformers so this game might be your choice if you really, really like Transformers so much.

Before you say no to this game, you might want to give it a try. Who knows if this is the game you want.

You can find out more information about the game here:

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10

PGA Tour 10

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 is released on 8 June 2009. The best thing about this game is that you get the real golfer experience without having to pay for the fees. It is like having your own golf course at your own place.

What you would love about the game?

1. The game controls recreates the real golf experience.

2. You will find better improvements in this game (better from the previous edition).

3. New tournaments and courses available for you to choose.

4. Online support and real-world weather game experience.

Things that might makes you feel irritated:

The visual. It might be a bit of a lag.

Overall, this game managed to get a really high score of 9.0 at GameSpot and this proves that many people love this game very much.

If you remember PGA 09 All-Play for Nintendo Wii, it was a big disappointment for many people.

This time around, you get better chances to play like a pro. You can see a lot of improvements on PGA 10 compared to PGA 09.

It is definitely worth buying and playing for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.

Would you get one?

Check out this amazing video.

Animal Crossing on Wii

Nintendo have officially announced that the Animal Crossing games will be available to Wii. It is expected to be released in December with Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Similar to the previous Animal Crossing games on the DS and Gamecube, this game has no goals or even a conclusion to the game.

Animal Crossing is just a playground for players to enjoy and have fun. Katsuya Eguchi, Animal Crossing creator said the main focus for the Animal Crossing games was to have players feel like they’re playing together, even though they may in all actuality be playing at different times.

Many people have been expecting new features and so in this game, you get graphics boost and there is a city that you can visit through the bus.

Other features include the introduction of Easter, Christmas and Halloween. You can also download content such as the furniture online.

Overall, this is a nice game to try out and if you have been playing Mario Kart on Wii, you are sure to like this game as well.

New Wii Mario Game – Mario Super Sluggers

Nintendo of America today revealed the first details on Mario Super Sluggers (Wii), the latest sports title to star Mario and what Nintendo referred to as "his unpredictable pals."

Do Fire Flowers count as performance-enhancing?

Mario Super Sluggers – a Mario Superstar Baseball (GCN) sequel slated to hit Japan this June – is also headed stateside later this year. While the details on this upcoming Wii title are still somewhat sketchy at the moment, we do know that Nintendo is hoping the game will provide the next step for the expanded audience brought in by Wii Sports, offering the same simple, motion-based controls, as well as Mii support (in addition to a gaggle of returning characters). Apart from that, all we have is the official statement from Nintendo below:

The ongoing excitement over Nintendo’s groundbreaking Wii system gets a suprise springtime boost with the announcement of a new game. Kicking off its semiannual media summit in San Francisco near the company’s new sales and marketing offices in Redwood City, California, Nintendo of America today revealed plans for Mario Super Sluggers for Wii, giving baseball fans even more reason to root this season.
“Mario is truly a one-of-a-king character; clearly fans can’t get enough of him and his friends,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “We’re giving Wii users brilliant new ways to enjoy him while expanding our series of active-play games.”

In the same spirit as other sports-themed Mario games on Wii like Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Kart Wii, Mario Super Sluggers blends richly interactive baseball action with eccentric characters and elements from across the popular Mario universe. Players can swing the wireless Wiimote just like a bat or wave it toward the plate to deliver a masterful pitch, enjoying the same intuitive, easy-to-learn controls that helped make Wii Sports a living room hit. With Mario and his unpredictable pals filling out the roster, imagination and active-play innovation are sure to dominate the diamond in this lively title, scheduled for release later this year.

Battle of the Bands features both an exciting two player versus mode and an extensive single-player campaign where players take on the role of one of eleven bands trying to topple the nefarious big boss Mr. Battle of the Bands is Newcastle’s Union’s response to the excellent local music scene. We want to showcase the range of talent and build a relationship with local artists, offering them a stage, an audience .and a $300 prize.

Battle of the Bands is one such title throwing its hat into the ring. What Battle of the Bands does differently is it does not use any special peripheral; it relies on the Wii remote’s motion sensing technology instead.

The game, which is rated "T" for Teen and will ship with about 30 songs, lets whoever’s leading the head-to-head match choose which of five genres these popular songs will be played in: rock, hip-hop, country, Latin, and marching band.

Can "Battle of the Bands" carve out its own niche along side other music heavyweights like "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band." we’ll find out when it launches next month for about $50.
