Back Up Games Without Using Modchip
Until now, Wii users needed to install a modchip in order to play backup games.
Now, coders have access to make their own custom Wii code by accessing the Wii core via a gamesave hack called the Twilight hack. This resulted in a custom made channel called The Homebrew Channel that lets you run homebrew software.
One of these softwares are the Wii Backup-Loader which allows you to load backup .iso images without having a modchip installed.
It’s still a bit of a process you need to go through in order to make this happen.
What you need in order to run this Wii softmod:
Computer With SD Card reader and DVD-R Burner
DVD-Rs (Verbatim or similiar quality discs)
ImgBurn – Image burning software
SD Card
Zelda: The Twilight Princess Original Game Disc
The Twilight Gamesave Hack
Homebrew Channel Installation Package
CIOS36 Homebrew Application
Backup Loader Homebrew Application
