EA Sports Active Feedback

EA Sports Active is out now. Have you got yours? If not, why not check out what others have to say about EA Sports Active.

Most of the reviews are positive but I picked this review to share with you guys because I know this is what you need to know.

Surely, you will get your EA Sports Active right away.

I had my EA Active delivered today and I was itching to try it out because I quickly became bored with the Wii Fit games that focused mainly on balance and weight.

It was very easy to get set up. I configured my workout person to look a little bit like me although I hope I am a bit cuter. I kind of wish that they had child avatars for my kids who will play this soon, but that isn’t my biggest need.

I chose to work out on a medium skill level for the 30 day challenge. I’m not ultra fit by any means, but I’d like to think that I could run a mile or two if someone was chasing me. At the beginning of my workout, I started to think that I wasn’t being pushed enough, but by the end, I was sweating like a big dog — which was great. I believe my perception was caused by learning each movement before I started which gave me rest time. At the middle of my workout, some of the prior activities came up again and I was able to go right from exercise to exercise and that’s what I like. This is so much better than the Wii Fit.

I did the running, punching, inline skating (super fun and a killer), side lunges, squats and front shoulder raises for my first workout. Every exercise was entertaining. It did take me a little bit to get used to how you hold the remote, but now I’m a pro. I did do the "couch test" where I placed the remote on the couch to see if the avatar would do the exercise anyway — which it didn’t — unlike some other fitness titles. It really does mimic your movements, which I like.

Time for a shower and I can’t wait for day two of my challenge. I can assure you that you’ll like this game if you put the work into it. The couch won’t do it for you. :) [review by Kurt A. Boyle on Amazon]

Meanwhile, there is a new 30-day Challenge coming up on 1st June 2009. Are you ready to take up a new challenge?

EA Sports Active 30-Day Challenge

This famous 30-Day Challenge by EA Sports Active is participated by 10 challengers from all walks of life. Whether you are single, married, a mum, a dad or a student, you can be a challenger and join in the 30-Day challenge to get fit.

So far, they are all making progress. You will be able to check out their progress through their diaries.

The purpose of this 30-Day Challenge is to proof to anyone that doubts the EA Sports Active fitness program. It is a personal trainer for everyone. Affordable and effective are the most important of all.

What the participants are saying about the EA Sports Active?

According to Jessica,

You can’t cheat or outsmart the 30 Day Challenge.  Not that I’ve tried.  But I did end up missing a day because I had one of those days where my day just got away from me.  Well, I thought EA SPORTS Active wouldn’t notice. Boy was I wrong. My virtual trainer adjusts the rest of the Challenge schedule around my slip-up so that I can still succeed!

Well, that is sure one eerie experience but it is actually a good thing because it makes sure you still get to achieve your target.

How will they go with the challenge? Only one way to find out. Stay tune to their progress.
