Quick And Dirty Tips For Your Wii
[via Gamespot Answers]
There are times when you are confused with your Wii.
You either have no idea what to do when things go wrong, or you have more questions about how to handle your Wii.
These should help you live well with your Wii.
1. Your wii is very hot: Your Wii is hot because you have Standby Connection on.
Solution: Live with it or turn this off in the WiiConnect24 section of the options menu.
2. I have a SD Card and a game saved on the wii. Is it possible to copy the file to the card, delete the file on the wii, start a new game on the game itself, and copy the first copy to the wii, without overwriting the new stuff?
Solution:
No. You’d wipe out the new Wii data in the process of sending the old data back.
If you had TWO SD cards, you could.
Copy Old Data to SD card 1 then remove Old Data from Wii
Earn New Data on Wii and Copy New Data to SD Card 2
Copy old data from SD Card 1 to Wii.
3. Can Wii accept all brands of SD Card?
Solution: The Wii is not compatible with SDHC cards (Secure Digital High Capacity), which are generally the cards that are larger than 2GB with "SDHC" on the card. Maybe this could be the issue. If not, Sandisk SD cards are pretty reliable and popular.
4. Wii freezing, what to do?
Solution: Try playing some other games. If it’s just Brawl, then it’s likley the disc. If it happens with other games, you may need to send your Wii to Nintendo.
5. Problem with Mii Channel?
Solution: Obviously, you have a corrupt Mii on your system. Go to the Wii system settings and find the option to format your system. Don’t worry; if it recognizes the corrupt Mii it will delete that and nothing else.
Ok, thats all for now. Hopefully this will help you answers some of your questions. Maybe you have not discover this yet but it is good to know beforehand.
