Nintendo Wii Shares Drop as Demand Drop
So you have heard that the Nintendo Wii shares are dropping thanks to dropping demand for Nintendo Wii console. Earlier, there were rumours about price slashing on the Nintendo Wii console. However, naturally, the people behind Nintendo Wii will always deny the rumours (any rumours).
It is reported that Nintendo Wii sales in March 2009 has dropped up to 17% while other consoles were doing great.
If this is the trend for the coming months, I think they will consider the option to reduce the pricing to attract more people (there are people who aren’t buying because of too expensive – what about you?).
Even Nintendo DS isn’t doing great at the time being, which contributed to the drop as well.
How will they solve such a problem? We will have to wait and see for sure.
