DVD playback on Wii through Homebrew
Many Wii users have complained about the inability to playback DVD movies on their Nintendo Wii. Note: Be careful if you’re going to use these kinds of hacks and stay alert on the latest news on sites like Wii Brew and HackMii, because you never know when Nintendo decides to create an Update that will discover these things and brick your wii.
Another note to think about is that the Drive in Wii isn’t really made for DVD playback use with hours of continously reading, so using these kind of hacks may affect the life span of the reader.
