The Ultimate Wii Guide – Blog

As many of you know, I’ve spent the last months writing The Ultimate Wii Guide. It’s a complete Nintendo Wii guide that will contain loads of information for both newbies and more experienced usres.

Some of the topics included are: How to setup wifi & Wii options, Channels, Custom Miis, Online Play, Hacking & Homebrew, Streaming Video & Audio, Tips & Tricks.

The work with the main guide is done and it is planned to be released in November.

Monopoly is finally out in the market. Monopoly Nintendo Wii version has better be good because Monopoly is the game that brought families and friends all together. It has been years since Monopoly been introduced as a family board game and over the years we have seen many version such as PC game and now Wii version.

Monopoly Wii version is released on 20 October 2008.  What is so interesting about this version of Monopoly is that the game play and rules remain the same as the classic game. The only difference is the layout. It is much different from the board game because it is now in 3D form. 

It is a great fun to play Monopoly on Wii but some suggest that Monopoly is best played on board. Although there is some truth in it, but we cannot deny the fact that Monopoly Wii version is definitely cool and of course suitable for those Wii fanatics who can never live without Wii.

It is just the same as the classic game where you will have to roll the dice and move, then wait for your turn again before you roll the dice again. It can support up to 4 players at a time so you can all gather round and have a nice Monopoly game on Wii.

I know that Sim City is an enjoyable game. However, put it on Wii and it can turn out to be different than the usual game we play on PC. Maybe because of the programming or designing, but let’s take a look at the Sim City Creator for Wii.

Overall, the goal of the game is to build a city and to become a metropolis. If you have played Sim City before, you should know.  The gameplay is still entertaining and satisfying but at times you will feel so frustrated especially when making the buildings.

This is because the  camera and cursor are linked together causing the frustration. The visuals are great and crisp. This time the buildings are more detail and interesting. However, there is no humour and the new features are not helpful at distinguishing from the previous release. Title

As usual being a mayor of a new city you will have to watch the budget and plan your city well in order to make your city a successful metropolis. You can play with or without mission. Some people prefer non mission oriented Sim City so that they can build whatever they want and do anything they like. If you like to challenge yourself, mission Sim City is more suitable for you.

A very interesting feature of Sim City Creator is you finally can build curvy roads instead of just straight roads giving it more texture and more life to your city.

I would suggest that if you have a PC, go for a PC Sim City rather than this but if Wii is all you have got, then I suppose Sim City Creator for Wii is just what you need to satisfy your itch for playing Sim City.

Most people love de Blob, because it is colourful and cute. It is all about colours when it comes to de Blob so have fun splashing in the colours and paint everything you can think of (literally in the game, of course). Whether you are kid or an adult, you will like de Blob. However, as usual there are goods and bads in everything.

As for de Blob, the goods are:

1. You get to paint Chroma City, which is something new and refreshing, I must say.

2. The story is told in a very funny movie series.

3. There is a multiplayer mode which can be fun and entertaining.

4. The graphics and sounds are the best combination that make this game alive.

However, the bads would be:

1. Too few challenges, making more repetitions.

So, there would be four goods and only one bads, making de Blob a worthy game to try especially if you like colours and art.

The story starts with the evil INKT Corporations that drained away the colours of Chroma City, giving it a dull and monochromatic colour. Even the citizens (known as Graydians) are turned into sullen Graydians.

This definitely calls for help and none other than de Blob would be able to save the day. With the help of Colour Underground Members, de Blob tried to bring the colours back to Chroma City and free its people.

The strategy to win the game is to paint the city bit by bit at every level and when you finally managed to paint the whole city, of course you win. The truth is you will need a lot of hardwork to win.

Overall, the presentation is excellent and the player mode has never been better. Whether you are playing single player mode or multi player mode, the game is just exciting and entertaining.

It seems that many Wii fans love Mega Man 9. Mega Man 9 has been the most favourite game of all since its release date. Mega Man was released on September 22 this year and since then, there are thousands of positive feedbacks from the Wii players.

Surprisingly, even though Mega Man was first introduced in 1987 but until today, this classic game remains a favourite. Of course, as time goes on, Mega Man has undergo series of transformations and improvements.

This time, Mega Man 9 is going to bring more adventures and intensity. Some says that it is challenging but yet rewarding when you play Mega Man 9.

The best thing about Mega Man 9 is the layout and presentation. This is because Mega Man 9 has improved on its presentation with 3D graphics and dynamic lighting. However, you will still feel the classic characters just like old times years ago.

The game has 50 built in games so you can play as long as you like at variable difficulties. Mega Man himself is afraid of heights. At the same time, if Mega Man was close to any spike or high temperature, he will explode. Not forgetting that he is allergic to other robots. So, you see why Mega Man is tough to play but with perserverance, you will be able to win the game.

You should try Mega Man 9 if you like adventure and satisfying victories. Whether you are a new gamer or an experienced gamer, you will be satisfied with its performance.

Tennis is a very popular game for Wii Fit. Like the real tennis, Wii Fit tennis requires you to play by swinging left or right. However, as long as you play long games and at the same time play near to the net, you will be able to lose weight just like boxing game.

This is because when you play long games, you play for a longer time. When you play near to the net, you will have to hit the ball faster. By combining these two steps you will be able to increase your metabolism and lose weight faster.

If you play for 25 minutes, you will be able to lose up to 110 calories. It is enough if you play 25 minutes a day to help lose weight in long term. However, if you want to play twice a day with each session for as long as 25 minutes, you can do so. Remember not to overplay the game because you need time to rest as well.
